Sakya Buddha University is pleased to announce the grand opening of SBU Buddhist Counseling Services, dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of individuals and families in our community.
The program integrates professional counseling psychology with the Buddhist values of wisdom, mindfulness, and compassion.
Under the guidance and supervision of professors, mental health professionals, and qualified counseling specialists, the program will provide free counseling services to the community while offering a supervised training environment for students in SBU’s Master of Arts in Buddhist Counseling Psychology program.
Counseling services will be available in multiple languages, including English, Vietnamese, Thai, and Khmer (Cambodian).
