INTERNATIONAL RECITATION OF THE TRIPITAKA
This sacred event commemorates the 2650th Vesak celebration of the Blessed One, the Fully Enlightened Buddha.

Dates:
16 May – 6 June 2026
For twenty-one days, the Sangha and devotees will gather to chant and recite the sacred scriptures of the Buddha.
The recitation will include:
- Pāli Canon (Tipiṭaka)
- Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures
- Mahāyāna Sutras including the Mahāratnakūṭa (Great Jewel Heap Sutra)
- Vinaya Piṭaka
- Abhidharma / Buddhist philosophical treatises
Through this offering of Dharma recitation, we aspire to:
- Preserve the living voice of the Buddha’s teachings
- Unite the traditions of Theravāda and Mahāyāna Buddhism
- Dedicate merit for the peace and well-being of all beings.
