INTRODUCTION

On the occasion of Vesak 2650, Sakya Buddha University (SBU) organizes an International Conference bringing together monastics, scholars, and experts to explore the relevance of the Tripitaka in the modern world.

OBJECTIVES

  • Preserve and promote the Tripitaka
  • Connect Theravāda and Mahāyāna traditions
  • Apply Buddhist teachings to modern society
  • Advance global Buddhist studies
