Santa Ana, CA: On the occasion of the 9-day Dharma assembly retreat in honor of the Buddha’s birthday, Sakya Buddha University held a Graduation Ceremony and awarded degrees to the first cohort of outstanding students, after two years of diligent studying, completed Master of Arts (MA) in Buddhist Philosophy. In addition, participants from the institution’s extracurricular classes, including Elementary to Intermediate Buddhist Studies program, the Advanced Buddhist Studies, and the Abhidharma Specialization program, were ready to graduate alongside the MA students.
